A Brief History
KOLKATA ALHODA EDUCATION AND WELFARE SOCIETY WAS FOUNDED BY MR. ZAKI AHMAD MADNI AND HIS CLOSE ASSOCIATES IN THE YEAR 2001. THIS ORGANIZATION HAD BEEN STRIVING HARD WITH ITS STEADFAST COMMITMENTS IN THE FIELD OF EDUCATION AND OTHER WELFARE ACTIVITIES.
The metropolis of Kolkata and its surrounding areas have a colossal Muslim population where illiteracy, ignorance and poverty prevail over the larger part of the community. The greater problem is that they are more ignorant about Islamic education and culture. The prime objective of the society was to emphasize, promote and provide modern education through English medium with Arabic language and Islamic studies in an Islamic environment to the greater part of the community.
Alhamdulillah, the managing committee and its humble members took sincere steps towards attaining this goal and worked hard to establish this institution under the name of Mahad Alhoda Al-Islamia. Later on they thought of establishing a modern English medium school with Islamic education. Consequently Alhoda International School came into existence in the year 2012.
AIS is currently under the process of getting affiliated to the Madinah University and Isnha Allah very soon the school will be affiliated to the Council of the Indian School Certificate Examination (ICSE), New Delhi for formal education upto class X.
We have over twenty dedicated staff members working towards the growth and success of AIS. Each member of our school staff is striving to provide the best education to the students and prepare them for a bright future. We at AIS instill values to ensure that the students adhere to their moral, cultural and social duties with a special emphasis on Islam.

The school is also under the process of getting affiliated to Islamic University of Madinah. The school management along with its dedicated and qualified staff members are striving to provide the best education to the students and prepare them for a bright future with Islamic moral, cultural and social values.
